When I Paint My Masterpiece: Painting Sea Shells
We spent some time the first couple of beach days this last week collecting good sea shells to paint. We had such good luck with painting our beach sculptures the last trip -- I was super excited to get at the shells. And mom had purchased a nice new big set of watercolors to use. Unfortunately, the new watercolors were washable and so they really didn't hold their color on the shells (the few we did with our regular watercolors did). But it was still fun to paint them, Cami got into it this time, and we left them in Nona's garden with our sculptures (which also needed a new hit of color so we can get everything again the next go around!).
