We Cry and Cry: Onion Prints

Mom almost always lets me join in whatever craft/art project going on at our house -- even though I almost always eat whatever it is.  So imagine her surprise when we did these onion prints the other day and I didn't even try to eat them for like a full 10 minutes.  We used both halved yellow onions and halved shallots.  I preferred the shallots since my fingers are pretty little - and the twist of shallot skin on the top almost made a little handle.  Kane got in on the action when he got up from his nap.  Mom helped him with the first one, but then he made two more all by himself.  He then realized mom was making dinner and said "wait, I get to watch my show."  And that was that.
